I am fortunate enough to teach library skills to over 600 amazing kids from Transitional Kindergarten to fifth grade. Many of these students are English Language Learners and come from low socio-economic households. Creekside Oaks is a low income school with over 50% of our schools population on free and reduced lunch. Unfortunately, our socio-economic status, along with severe budget cuts to our library in the last five years has made introducing technology and literature very difficult.
