Girls Soccer has generally been a sport that gets little credit, although we, as educators, love the fact that we can support any child in any activity. My students love the competition they encounter, and they love the passion of the sport, so it doesn't bother them that their backgrounds are so rough on them. The girls strive and push through like champs on every challenge. We are seeking Backpacks to help our soccer players carry their gear to and from practice and competitions. In soccer, we travel a lot to compete and most of the time, our kids don't have anything to put their soccer cleats, uniforms and clean clothes in other than trash or grocery bags. We would like to provide our team with some backpacks so they can put their gear in so they don't have to worry about it getting lost. Most teams have the ability to wear their jerseys to school to let others know that they are a part of a team. It will also allow our kids to look unified when we travel to other schools and not look disorganized.
