My kindergarten class is the very best! My students are a excited group of young scholars. They love learning, read aloud, math, and writing. Watching my students progress over these past few months have been nothing sort of AMAZING! While our sense of community and belonging is on its way, we need as much help as we can get to foster a safe and caring learning environment. This comes through both the explicit instruction and interventions as well as the implicit factors, such as a too-small carpet, lack of computers that work, or our daily mantra of "I'm smart, I'm important, I'm loved". When my students latch onto an idea or a concept, it's hard for them to let it go! I am already impressed and excited for the progress they have made as individuals and a class.
