I teach first grade, and I have many ESL students in my classroom. All of my students, especially my ESL students need to be able to hear books read to them often. They need to hear language and appropriate reading expression to help them become readers. We learn by listening and doing, and these tape players would greatly help. The students could listen to individual stories in the classroom, without other students having to overhear.
