My students are diverse learners, who come from diverse backgrounds, who are faced with the challenges of educational inequity on a daily basis. Myself, and the other teachers at my Title I school, advocate for our students on a daily basis to ensure that our babies have the same opportunities for access and success in this fast-paced, cut-throat educational climate. My students also have their each unique story to share with the world. They are English learners. They are athletes. They are students with exceptional learning qualities. They may be homeless. And they are children; children who deserve a quality education.
