I am a Reading Intervention teacher and school librarian. I teach at a Title I charter school where more than 90% of students are on free and reduced lunch. A high number of our students are English Language learners. Our school is governed by the motto "Whatever it takes" and as a teacher, I want to do just that to help students not only learn to read but to LOVE to read. One way of doing that is being able to provide my classroom students with new and appropriately leveled books for them to read, explore, borrow and learn from.
