My students are mostly 10th and 12th graders. The 10th grade students I have are enrolled in AP U.S. Government and Politics. This rigorous course covers all aspects of American Government and prepares students to take a college level exam at the end of the year. The 12th grade students I have are enrolled in U.S. Government and Politics. This course not only covers all aspects of American Government but also covers real world government issues with students such as registering to vote and contacting an elected official.I have some students that are part of an inclusion class which is taught with the aid of a special education teacher. Most of my students enter my class with very little prior knowledge of how our government works.
