I have 135 students, (7th graders) that are extremely diverse in race and ability. They are eager to learn and very responsive to hands on experiences. There is nothing better than to see their faces as they experience that "light bulb" moment. When the information you are giving them just clicks and makes sense. Of course this happens most often when they are participating in labs or doing hands on activities.
