I have a classroom full of busy third graders. Some of my students come from far away countries so our classroom is very diverse. My students come from many different background and may not get enough movement during the day. We are working on being active to help burn off some of our energy. Sports tend to cost money that students do not have. I want to give my students a way to be active in the classroom while they are learning math or reading. I worry that my students are not getting all the exercise they need. I want my students to be able to succeed in everything they do and these exercise balls will help focus their learning while giving them exercise. We are a small school and our P.E. class is often canceled and this does not allow time for our students expend the energy built up during the day.
