West Adams Prep High School is comprised of over 1400 students from the neighborhood. The majority of our students are low-income and first-generation high school students. The school is split up into three pathways that students choose in the 10th grade year - STEM Academy (engineering), School of Business Management and Culinary Arts, and School of the Arts. I work primarily with STEM Academy teachers and students to develop the program theme and help teachers incorporate the STEM and engineering theme into instruction and assessment.
