Thank you for visiting my page! MacGregor is a continuation high school where students can earn a certificate of completion if they are behind in graduation credits. MacGregor also works with Albany High School, and both allow dual attendance so that students can graduate with a diploma. I've been teaching for almost 20 years, and during my last two years working at MacGregor, I have found working with the students and staff to be eye-opening and rewarding. MacGregor is an ideal educational setting because the teacher to student ratio is lower, and students can be given opportunities to explore and connect their education with their more immediate and customized goals for post-high school options. The traditional classroom doesn't fit every student. At MacGregor, our goal is to provide students with stability and support, but more importantly, staff make it their goal to help make school fit the student.
