Public speaking can be terrifying, and listening is a skill that needs to be developed. This project will help my students find their voice in a safe and meaningful. Throughout the year students will engage in whole group discussions and having a throwable microphone will amplify their voices and increase engagement. In addition, the throwable mic will make it easier to identify whose turn it is to speak in a fun and effective way. The Logitech Speakers are part of this project in order to have some decent speakers to play the sound from the Qball throwable mic that all the students can clearly hear inside of the classroom. The pop-up tent will offer a private space for students to record 90-second video responses. It's intimidating to record video or audio in front of the entire class, this tent can overcome that challenge.
