“All genuine learning is active, not passive.” ~Mortimer Adler Who likes to sit in the same ol’ desk all day? No one! Where do you do your best work; sitting in a comfortable chair, leaning against a pillow, standing at your counter, or laying on the floor? If we get the comfortable seating for our classroom, my students will be able to choose where they are most comfortable and where they can learn best. Stability balls, cycling machines, and bosu balls shouldn't only be accessible in PE, let's bring them into the classroom! The alternative seating options will create a positive and productive learning environment for everyone to stay energized and active. These creative kids need a flexible learning environment that matches their innovative ideas and lively discussions. With your generous donation, my students will have a chance to move, bounce, wiggle, and wobble while they work. Allowing them to move will not only keep them engaged and excited to learn, but also energize their brains.
