Most of students within our surrounding community are coming in from low income families. These children are the most loving and hard working children, even when the world seems to be against them. Sometimes the students time at school is the only time that they are engaged in a loving, secure, and warm environment. School may be the only time that they are getting a warm meal in their bellies. My school is an amazing school that embraces these students! I, as a new teacher, want to give these children the world! Which is why I don't want my lack of funds to hinder me from giving them every resource they can have! I would do anything for these kiddos. I treat them as my own, and want the best for them in school and out of school.
