I’m requesting a wireless PA system and lapel microphone for my students. Throughout the year, we give class presentations, and it’s often embarrassing for the quietest students. They’re fully aware that their voices are too quiet to be heard, which makes them even more nervous and quiet. Speaking clearly and concisely is a necessary skill that employers seek out. When my students use this microphone, their presentations are more “official” and they have the opportunity to practice this life skill with purpose. I have some very introverted students who love to share with the class, but we can't always hear their great ideas.
