First graders need an interactive, and positive classroom to enhance their social and emotional skills. Each year kids come into my room, and I try to provide a safe and secure learning environment, where they can interact with one another to develop the skills they need for the rest of their lives. With your help I can buy rugs to encourage cooperative activities and peer reading. I would like to get leveled books to help every child reach their reading levels. I currently use paper books, that I print and staple from the computer. I feel confident that with your help we can inspire our kids to read and develop their literacy skills.
