Throughout the day sitting in hard chairs all day long is difficult for many of my students. By having these flexible seating options my second grade students will be able to increase their focus because they will be more comfortable during independent, group and partner work. My classroom will feel more like home for them, and we will also be able to incorporate this seating into social skills lessons where they can practice problem solving. My students will be able to make choices about where or how they want to sit and increase their engagement and focus during our lessons!
