My school is in a high-poverty, low-income neighborhood. Many of my students receive free lunches and their families struggle to meet their day-to-day needs. Despite the challenges they may face at home, my students come to school every day eager and ready to learn and grow. They are a wonderful group of sweet, caring, and enthusiastic third graders.
