At the end of the 2014-2015 school year I made the decision to return to the classroom after eight years of working as a school administrator. I missed getting to know a group of students well and wanted the opportunity to implement the strategies I learned as an administrator- both from training and from observing other teachers! I now have the privilege to be working with an amazing group of 5th grade students in a Dual Language Immersion program. We've created a culture of readers, writers, historians, mathematicians, and scientists! The challenge now is how to obtain enough resources and materials to keep them actively engaged in their learning. Thank you so much for supporting us!
