The materials requested will help students be able to learn in a way more comfortable to them, and allow them the choice of what type of seat they are more comfortable with. The materials already have a home, and have been chosen with Kindergarten children in mind. Your donation to this project will make it possible for Kindergarten students to choose seats that encourage flexibility, movement, and the ability to move as Kindergarten students do, in a safe and exciting way. Alternative seating will allow students to move more throughout the day and help to lessen anxiety, help control the wiggles, and help control the behaviors that you see in a sit in your seat classroom. The side to side rockers will possibly feel more comfortable in the Wobble Stools. The ball chairs will help the children that like to scoot around the classroom in the regular chairs. The bands for the chair legs, these will allow the students that like to kick their feet, a way to move their feet without mistakenly kicking their neighbors. Thank you in advance for helping my students be more comfortable in our home away from home, while making the learning process a more exciting one.
