Welcome to Mr. Clarke's 11th Grade American Literature class, where we read a wide variety of texts (novels, plays, photography, music, and painting) culled from the rich tapestry of American literature and art. We read these texts through a variety of critical lens, from archetypal criticism to Freudian criticism. The goal is to enhance every students ability to read with more than their eyes. Finally, we believe that reading literature is both a personal and communal act, so thank you for support and encouragement.
