Chromebooks will make learning come alive. By having Chromebooks in my classroom, we can do things like take virtual field trips to ancient Egypt and go on virtual archaeological digs in the Fertile Crescent. Further, students can do things like use QR codes to complete tasks related to ancient civilizations. There are so many exciting opportunities for students in studying Ancient Civilizations when we can "jump" into those civilizations using technology! The whole ancient world of civilizations can come alive when students can engage in and experience it! This is made possible through the internet and the many wonderful websites that bring these civilizations to life for students. When students are engaged and active in their learning using other means than their book, paper and pencil, learning becomes fun for them, and they want to learn more!! That is every teacher's dream!
