The classroom mission statement my students came up with is simple: "We spread joy through love." This is who they are. They spread joy by teaching and helping each other. They spread joy by showing integrity in difficult situations. They spread joy by noticing the greatness of other students and by encouraging it. They spread joy by persevering through difficult situations. They spread joy by doing community service for the animal shelter and cancer patients. They are capable of absolutely anything! They are a future that is full of hope and goodness.
