My students are sweet bilingual students whose love for learning inspires me everyday. They are quick to quiet down when it is time to learn, and they are eager to fix mistakes to become better at skills across the curriculum. Seeing them become excited when they receive a new book for the holidays is enough to make your eyes fill and your heart burst. The school my students attend is a Title 1 high poverty school. About 95% of my students receive free and reduced lunch due to the high poverty in our area.
