Our school has 5 students who have qualified to attend the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference. One of these students will be obtaining training to serve as the 1st Vice President for our North Carolina FCCLA organization. This trip will afford them the opportunity to participate in leadership classes and make lifelong connections with other student leaders and members of the business industry. Additionally, these students will compete against other students from across the USA and territories in STAR (Students, Taking, Action, with Recognition) Event Competitions in Applied Math Culinary Management and Focus on the Children events. Preparation for this event has been a year-long process and these students have dedicated numerous hours to ensure their qualification and success.

About my class
