By providing the motivated, hard working students with 5 Chromebooks, the students can improve their reading levels through listening and reading comprehension. Our current reading program, Journeys, has a website that allows the students to read the weekly story online, listen to the story, and answer questions about the story. Additionally, the Journeys website has a link called HMH in the news. This site allows the students to read about current events. With the three computers that we currently have, the students have improved their reading levels quickly by using technology. If additional students had the opportunity to use a computer throughout the day, the reading levels will continue to improve.
