Hello! My name is Ms. Requiestas. As of June 24, I can officially say that I made it through my first year of teaching in one piece. However, my heart feels 100 times bigger and more full of love. I am so appreciative of all the support I have received from my family, friends, co-workers and especially my students and their families. I know my 2016-2017 5th grade class and I would appreciate and value your support as we continue to delve into the standards and life lessons that encompass 5th grade. All students have their own methods of learning and understanding the world. It is my hope to provide a classroom that respects the varying needs, strengths and areas for growth for all my past, current and future students. Please help me in this endeavor. Your support for Room 9 will go beyond the classroom, as my students will carry your support with them as they continue to grow and move forward in their lives.
