My students are individuals residing in a low socio-economic environment with limited possibilities for success. Nonetheless, they are enthusiastic, sweet and willing to absorb new information. They are mostly the first ones in their family to graduate high school and may not have the desire, means or idea of their next steps in life. My school has a safe and caring environment where students feel they can become part of a larger event.
