True or False. In this day and age of testing, science really takes a back seat in the classroom. In my classroom, the answer is false. I teach first grade in a small school in rural CA. Our school is a small K-3 program. ALL of the teachers at my school are dedicated to engaging the students and making learning experiences that last for them. I have personally learned that creating experiences that revolve around science can truly create learning across the curriculum for all students.
