My students are a diverse group of middle schoolers, coming from a variety of different backgrounds. One of the things that unites them is their genuine desire to learn and grow; they are eager and capable learners. They are creative, hilarious, resilient, and curious. I believe the culture of my school contributes to their individual desires to learn. It is a positive, nurturing environment where students are encouraged to be themselves. Teaching is dynamic and student-centered, with collaboration between students as a hallmark of time in the classroom.
