This alphabet carpet will be a wonderful addition for our Kindergarten classroom Language Arts lessons. My students will have the opportunity to practice the alphabet every day by hopping on the letters, by finding the matching letter and making the letter sound that matches the letter and by sitting or standing on specific letters when requested. The alphabet carpet will also provide a specific square a child will sit upon for daily lessons. This will help my Kindergarten students focus on the Literacy lesson and help prevent students from pushing and shoving because friends are sitting too close together on the carpet.
