I work at a fabulous school with a staff of teachers that truly feel blessed and honored to teach! Our area is low income/high poverty, 100% of our students are on free lunch. The students I work with have challenges but they truly want to learn and do whatever they can to succeed. I feel all children have the right to a wonderful teacher and school. Students in high poverty areas need this more than ever because a good education may be the only thing that helps them break the cycle of poverty. I am committed to providing my students with opportunities and experiences that will help them build background knowledge and ignite a spark inside them to make them become lifelong learners!
