Listening stations are a research-based way to support students in making huge literacy gains. The listening station I have now is "out-of-order" after the cassette player was damaged from a roof leak from Hurricane Matthew. My students are devastated because our listening station has been very popular this year. We are looking to you to help us bring it back! Help give these students the tools they need to be successful readers in kindergarten and beyond! The boom box, along with the books on tape, will be used EVERY DAY. We need these materials to get acquainted with authentic literature, while becoming independent readers. Thank you for considering our classroom.
