My school is a Title 1 school which means that we have a very high percentage on Free/Reduced lunches. We have a very high Hispanic population of 85%. Most students have not be in any type of school for PreK when they enter kindergarten which makes classroom procedures and rules the number one priority at the begin of the year. There is very little parent involvement in the classroom because of the language barrier between parents and teachers.
