This book is one of my favorites to introduce my middle schoolers to discussing difficult topics in the classroom. This text does a fantastic job addressing the science of cancer and treatment and the emotional toll on a family. It also helps address mental and emotional health and wellness and how people deal with stress and loss. It has for years been a favorite book of mine & the kids love it. We really could use a classroom set, after years of love it our set is falling apart. Please help support the love of reading!
