I am constantly looking for ways to improve the delivery of curriculum to my students. After a thorough analysis of the research, I saw the huge benefits in using a blended learning model of teaching and learning in my classroom. The blended learning model uses digital devices to deliver part of the instruction and practice during the school day. In order to facilitate this transition, I needed digital devices to be in my classroom the entire day. I used some of my own money along with a generous donation from my brother to purchase 20 Kindle Fire devices and 20 cases with wired keyboards. The Kindles have been great, but sadly, the keyboards have become a problem. They are too small and with the steady wear and tear, they are losing keys and wires. Since the search and recording of knowledge relies on a keyboard, the lack of such causes frustration and loss of productive learning time. We reach out to you with our plight.
