This is my 11th year teaching at School District U-46. I have taught at 10 schools at the district, but Coleman has been my home school for all 11 years. Coleman is located in Elgin, IL, and 84% of my students are from low-income households. We are a Title I school and my students also have a high mobility rate. We only get to have music class once a week for 40 minutes, but we try to make the best of use of our time to learn and have fun at the same time.
