The population of my students is mid to low income, meaning many see four year colleges as not an option for their families. My photography classes are growing each year to include upper levels of technical photography skill building and exploration. I would like to continue to build on student interest in current market trends by providing a career relevant experience that allows them to utilize their creativity in a field opening up career options to them when they graduate. At current, I don't have enough equipment for an entire class to interact with lighting equipment. The addition of this equipment will allow groups of students to be able to work in professional, career relevant studio set ups.
