My students are three and four year old children from an urban neighborhood. All my students receive free school breakfast and lunch. This is the first time many of my students are in school and following rules while playing with others. It is a big adjustment for them when they start school having teachers instead of family around them all the time. Many of the students do not get outside to play and only know indoor play. I like to have the students go outside as much as possible to get sunlight and fresh air away from technology and rigorous learning.
