A Breakout EDU experience is collaborative, kinesthetic activity that reinforces learning. Students must work together, thinking critically and creatively, to complete each challenge. Breakout EDU is an experience. This is the kind of activity students will enjoy while learning is taking place. Each of my challenges will be specifically designed to focus on the skills and content for 8th Grade Math and Science. Breakout has a game platform that will develop my students’ perseverance. Teams that don’t figure out each puzzle on their first try are rewarded when they learn from their missteps, reconsider their approach, and try again. Learning isn’t an all-or-nothing event, but rather an ongoing process that students refine as they work toward their goal to complete all of the challenges and unlock their series of boxes.
