My students are inspiring, loving, hilarious, and so hardworking. They are the best kids in the entire world. Nearly all of my students come from low-income households and overcome tremendous challenges every day. Their school is a consistent place for them to eat meals, wash their clothes, receive counseling services, and be heard and loved by their teachers. Even though our families are overcoming challenges of their own, scholars come to school every day ready to tackle challenges with incredible enthusiasm and a growth mindset. They constantly seek improved solutions and are always asking how they can make themselves and their community better.

About my class
