I am trying to create a classroom environment that will allow my students to feel safe, welcomed, comfortable and excited to come to school everyday. I want to incorporate a classroom pet system to encourage my students to respect their classmates, school and of course their teacher. Desks pets will not only be used for a positive reinforcement for behavior, but will also be used as brain breaks, transitions, manipulatives for math and much more! l also want to add some flexible seating in the classroom. The area rug and bounce seats will allow my students a variety of options to find a safe comfortable place to learn!
