My goal is to create a classroom with a variety of seating options to increase student focus. Wobble chairs and Wobble cushions will allow my kindergarteners the chance to get some of those wiggles out as they learn. Giving my students the opportunity to choose their seating helps the students learn to share and to take ownership of our classroom. Kindergarten isn't only about learning to read, write, and count . . . it's about developing social, emotional, and communication skills as well. What a great way to work on these skills in a practical way . . . figuring out where we'd like to wiggle and wobble each day.
