I have 19 special education scholars that I work with in the two 4th and 5th grade classrooms in my school. I work with scholars who have a learning disability, mild disabilities, or autism. With the wide range of disabilities and academic levels, an iPad would help individualize the needs for remediation and enrichment for all the scholars. With being a special education scholar, a tool to use for self-guided practice is a necessity. The scholars are eager to use technology, but we have very little opportunity because we have one computer lab to share at our Pre-school - 8th grade school.
