Currently I have 17 students that are all excited about reading, math and engaging their learning utilizing technology and active engagement! Our school has a large student base which has limited exposure to texts, use of technology and additional resources for learning. In order to ensure that our students are successful, I strive to provide them with many opportunities in the classroom. My first graders are intrigued in their learning and display a sense of understanding for the connection to continual learning and development. They have worked hard to become independent in their achievements and they display a desire to acquire all knowledge available to them. Access to varieties learning opportunities is limited, and as such a goal of mine is to increase that opportunity where they can instill a deeper love for life-long learning that will continue as they grow.
