This atlas has an abundance of information for students which covers ancient history to modern times. I teach a class on ancient civilizations and modern world history. These materials would benefit all of my students and not just one class. The historians in training, my students, would benefit from these materials by allowing them to think critically and process historical information in many different ways. One way is through practicing geography skills that most students in this country lack a proper understanding of geography. When I teach my history courses, I am always including geography to supplement my students understanding. A second way is for students to interpret pictures and make historical inferences about what they are looking at and get a contextual understanding of the time period. A third way is for students to use the short written passages to supplement and extend their understanding of the content being presented to them.
