My students attend one of the most racially diverse schools in the country with 20 different languages spoken and 14 different ethnic groups. We are a high poverty school and are part of a diverse community, with a high percentage of students being students with learning needs and English language learners (ELL). For some of our students this is their first learning experience and first time being in a classroom.
