These Chromebooks will allow my students to gain all online learning platforms. It will help families communicate with the teacher using Class Dojo and Google Class. It will allow students to make connections with teachers and fellow classmates. I like to do baking zooms with my students. During the Spring zoom, we bake apple muffins. We make rhythm instruments and play songs together. We meditate. We play phonological and math games. I post weekly agendas and classwork on google class. I read stories to them. We have math talks and close reading discussions. At the end of this past school year, we did a zoom promotion with a video slideshow. Families joined the festivities via zoom. Only a few students got to participate in these activities because they did not have a device to link them to these programs and activities.
