Welcome and Thanks for Your Consideration! I am thrilled to be teaching at an inner-city school with the mission to connect students with the environment. I gained a vast amount of knowledge about the environment during my 10 years of training in the Boy Scouts of America. I love my time spent in nature and hope to pass that love onto students. As a former athlete, I understand that students need a physical outlet. During the school day I try to get students up and out of their seats as often as possible. In addition, I coach after school activities to provide students with the chance to be part of an organized sport that might not have had the chance otherwise.
