Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I have been teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for 16 of my 18 years in the teaching field. I LOVE IT! Working with Deaf students is my passion. I also love to volunteer with organizations that help children suffering from rare diseases, especially Batten Disease. I try to pass along random acts of kindness throughout the school to brighten up the recipient's day. I work at multiple schools during my week, two of which are Leader in Me schools. I love Leader in Me and I wish all schools would adopt the concept. There are leaders within all of us. Sometimes we need to help others discover how they can be a leader, but once their true talent is found, people shine!
